Thanks to those responsible for breaking the stereotypes and bring a different style of dance and dance costumes dance to the masses. Ballroom dancing is no longer considered covered. Ballet is no longer regarded as boring or conservative, and hip hop is not really thought of as ghetto or mere street dancing. Napoleon and Tabitha, who first came from behind the scenes of So You Think You Can Dance, now have their own show on TLC called Rock the Reception. It is a reality show in which Napoleon and Tabitha teach a bride and groom to dance to be held at your wedding is a surprise for their guests. The show is very funny and very entertaining, and it shows the excitement of discovery to finish the dance.

The enthusiasm for dance can also be seen to quickly sell tickets to the live tour of So You Think You Can Dance. The 10 dancers (in the first 11 this season take place) travel the country to make some favorite dances of the season. Tickets for these shows to sell faster than some of the best concerts of the year, sometimes causingto add additional performances in some of the venues. While most reality shows do not offer more than mindless entertainment, this is not the case of dance. They provide exposure to different cultures, arts and music. We hope that these reality shows are here to stay!
